Heather has been a member of the MCAA for over 10 years and has held the 1st Vice President Title for the majority of those years. She has held the position of Property Manager at Abodes, Inc for over 13 years while also holding a career in real estate. Prior to property management, Heather worked for a decade in all aspects of golf and resort management. Not only is she a graduate of Indiana University, she is also a wife and mother of a teenage son.

John was born and raised in Gary Indiana is a Viet Nam Veteran and graduated from the IU School of Business. John’s career ranged from working as an Insurance Claims Adjuster, Premium Auditor, Forms Designer and, 30 years as a Financial Advisor and Retirement Planner. John’s wife, Sharon, and he have owned and operated rental homes in Monroe County for 25 years.
Director: Suzanne O’Connell – Cedarview Management
Suzanne O’Connell – Vice President, Real Estate
Suzanne began her property management career in 1997 with Baird & Warner Management Group, Inc. in Chicago after graduating from Indiana University.
Her first assignment was the high-profile REALTOR® Building at 430 N. Michigan Avenue. This 12 story building was home to the National Association of REALTORS® headquarters, multiple affiliates of the National Association of REALTORS®, the original Billy Goat Tavern, and a Walgreens retail store. During Suzanne’s tenure the REALTOR® Building began extensive renovations including an $8 Million Dollar renovation to the façade and a modernization of the elevators.
Prior to joining Cedarview Management, Suzanne was invited to join a former Baird & Warner Management Group colleague, NAI Hiffman’s Vice President, Rich LeBrun, to work on the newly formed “MIRVAC” team. The MIRVAC REIT portfolio re- assignment was the largest property management portfolio transition in Chicago real estate history. Suzanne oversaw the MIRVAC assets located in Wisconsin and Michigan.
In 2010, Suzanne returned to Bloomington to accept the Property Manager position for Cedarview Management. The position provided Suzanne the opportunity to manage office, retail, and a significant residential portfolio. In recognition of her contributions and expanding role at Cedarview, Suzanne was promoted to Vice President in 2013. Her duties include participating in the site selection, acquisition and development process as well as overseeing the residential / commercial leasing staff, marketing department and maintenance team.
Suzanne has been an instructor for the City of Bloomington’s Housing and Neighborhood Development program “Renting 101” and has taught the “Landlord Info” course for South Central Indiana Housing Opportunities. She is proud to serve as a member of the Board for the Monroe County Apartment Association and to help ensure quality housing for renters in Monroe County.
Director: Lori Todd – Choice Realty & Management
Born and raised in Monroe County, Lori Todd started her real estate career in 1991.
She founded Choice Realty & Management in 2002 which specialized in residential sales, leasing and management.
Lori has served on local, state and national committees for the real estate industry as well as served as local President of the MCAA.
Ex-Officio: Mark Figg – Figg Property Group
Mark has over thirty years in management, commercial development, brokerage, receivership, and appraisal involving numerous property types including multi-family, hotel, retail, office, industrial, and land.
Mark’s forte is navigating through complex and difficult situations while tenaciously working to find value for the benefit of his clients. His experience is sought after by investors, developers, judges, REIT’s, attorneys, banks, and special servicers. A strong educational background at the distinguished Indiana University Kelley School of Business Real Estate Program coupled with full Appraisal Institute coursework gives Mark the analytical foundation to effectively advise clients.
Mark’s service includes the Board Chair of the Economic Development Corporation, President of Monroe County Apartment Association, and former member of the Board of Zoning Appeals. He is also a frequent presenter at national real estate conferences. Prior to his involvement with NAI, Mark spent 20 years consulting the real estate, financial, and legal communities in a multitude of management, valuation, brokerage, and development assignments.
Executive Director: Angie Figg – Kirkwood Property Management
Angie has worked 18 years in commercial, brokerage, property management, commercial real estate marketing, and bookkeeping. Assisted in the transacting, evaluating, and marketing of numerous property types including multi-family, hotel, retail, office, industrial, and land.
Angie has a varied background in real estate and is considered to be a “marketing whiz” by those who have worked with her. Her experience as Director of Public Communications at NAI Olympia Partners and as their division’s administrator, provided her with a significant opportunity to gain specialized expertise in the marketing of developable land, hotel/motel marketing, court appointed receiverships, and the marketing of large student rental complexes.
